Nose aesthetics or rhinoplasty surgery changes the shape of the nose to be symmetrical with other facial features and eliminates problems in the nasal passage. Rhinoplasty is a simple procedure today, but since it is performed on the facial area, it is up to the surgeon to achieve permanent results.
Why did I specialize in rhinoplasty?
Why did I specialize in rhinoplasty?
During my residency training, I had a special interest in nose surgeries. Most of my patients who have undergone rhinoplasty have experienced really positive changes in their lifestyle. I have observed an increase in their self-confidence after the procedure.
The outcome of rhinoplasty is extremely rewarding. The aesthetic improvement allows the patient to quickly forget their previous appearance.
First of all, when you contact me, I create a special appointment for you.
I listen to your complaints during a free initial consultation

I examine you. I detect all problems inside and outside the nose.
I then take professional photographs of your entire face and nose line from many angles.
Using a special computer program, I plan the nose shape you desire on the photos I have taken beforehand. in this way, I determine what kind of nose shape it can be and whether it will suit your face before the procedure.
When we agree to have surgery, I get an operation date from the appropriate hospital we have an agreement with.
The day before the operation, I do your tests at the relevant hospital and these tests are evaluated by the anesthesiologist.
On the day of surgery, you are taken to surgery after fasting for at least 6 hours. I perform your surgery very comfortably under general anesthesia.
The next day we discharge you with a special plaster on the back of the nose and a special silicone tampon in the nose.
Our recommendation is that you come to our clinic after spending a week with medicines. I take your nasal cast and tampons.
You use the necessary medicines for intranasal care.

You can have this surgery performed by all physicians who are experts in their field, who have directed their interest to this field, who constantly follow current courses and trainings, who are open to innovations, and who can use the technological tools of the age.
Is there an age limit for rhinoplasty?
According to the currently accepted opinion, girls must be 17 years old and boys must be 18 years old, and family consent must be obtained in our underage female patients.
Which technique is used in rhinoplasty?
There are two approaches, open and closed technique. In the open technique, surgery is performed by making a small incision at the tip of the nose, while in the closed technique, it is performed from the inner parts of the nose, provided that there is still an incision. The choice of technique depends on the patient's nasal structure and the surgeon's experience.
How long does the surgery take?
The operation time of an average patient varies between 2.5-3 hours. In some difficult patients, it can take up to 4 hours.
Which technique do you use in rhinoplasty surgery?
I mostly use open technique surgery. This way I work more comfortably and safely.
What is the level of pain, swelling and bruising after surgery?
If the appropriate plan is followed, there is swelling and mild bruising for a few days, but these symptoms completely regress within the first week.
What is revision rhinoplasty?
If there is an undesired or incomplete recovery in people who have undergone aesthetic nose surgery, the process of correcting this situation again is called revision rhinoplasty.
When should revision rhinoplasty be performed?
Ideally, it should be done after one year. If there is a necessity, it can also be done after the sixth month is completed.
So, can the result to be obtained after revision be guaranteed?
What affects the result?
The result cannot be guaranteed with certainty. Even in the most skillful hands, there is a 5% chance of reoperation. The outcome is affected by the technique used in the first surgery, the patient's skin structure, age and whether the patient smokes or has an additional disease.
